Concept
Traditional Ukrainian art is clearly visible on the table, embroidered by hand in 54,027 holes. The table’s textile elements required a staggering 32 kilometres of thread. The designer considers this pattern to be both energetic and protective.
Apart from this piece of furniture, some of the other items he has presented at the fair in Milan sport traditional Ukrainian patterns created on high-tech fabrics with small holes on their surfaces, so that coloured thread can be easily sewn.
